At the Global Workforce Serbia event, held on November 14th, 2024, our team members, Mirjana Dakić - Sales Associate, and Nevena Filipović - HR Operations Specialist, got acquainted with the latest trends in the employment of foreign workers and learned how to prepare for future changes in the labor market.
Mr. Zeynal Hajiyev, Head of Mission for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Serbia, spoke about how adapting migration policies can respond to the growing demands of the labor market and contribute to sustainable development, as well as the importance of migration for the future of the labor force.
Mr. Shavikesh Goel, representative of the Indo-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, spoke on the topic "Strengthening Bilateral Economic Ties: The Role of Indo-Serbian Cooperation in Workforce Development." He outlined how economic cooperation between India and Serbia contributes to labor markets and the economies of both countries.
At the event, Denis Prenkaj - CEO of DPoslovi, the company that organized the event, shared his experiences with employing foreigners in Croatia, highlighting the key challenges and strategies his company used for the successful integration of foreign workers into the labor market.
Finally, Aleksandar Ilić - CEO of Mozzart, presented on the best practices for employment at his company, focusing on candidate selection and creating a positive work environment that fosters employee development.
During this one-day conference, we had the opportunity to gain many valuable insights. The exchange of experiences with colleagues from the industry and discussions about the current market situation were of great importance to our team. Through these new connections, we will have the opportunity to become active members of a community that selflessly shares knowledge, inspiration, and ideas, which will enable us to grow and develop together.
